This is a fun activity for young kids, where they take Pom-Poms that have magnets on them and they put the right color over the dots on the sheet to complete the picture. I found this idea on Pinterest a while ago, and honestly, I am not sure who I would even give credit to for coming up with the idea because I have seen so many out there. I knew that my kids would love these, so I made some and am sharing the printables with you!
I purchased some supplies from my local Dollar Store and Walmart. I got the Cookie Pans and Super Glue from the Dollar Store (Dollar Tree), and I got the Pom-Poms(about $3.50) and the Magnets($1) from Walmart. I printed the pages just on plain copy paper and then I laminated them. They work great with out laminating, I just wanted the pages to last longer. You probably could use sheet protectors too. Then I super glued the Pom-Poms to the magnets, I bought the adhesive Magnet strips thinking that they would stick, but they just don’t hold.
My kids have loved this activity so far, they have done the whole alphabet each probably 4 or 5 different times and are still not bored of it… and it usually takes them a good 30-45 minutes to get through all of the printables.
PS. This would be great for Day Cares, Nursery, or Preschool too!
